About Us

AV Clay Creations is a ceramic arts studio in Lancaster, CA, focusing on art as therapy to enhance cognitive function and unleash creativity through workshops and classes.

All classes are taught by Ben Trammell. Ben was injured while serving in the United States military and later discovered the healing benefits of art therapy through ceramic art. Ben was taught by his mentor Rich Sim and has been working with him for over 15 years.

Rich Sim served in the US Army and then became an Art Professor at Antelope Valley College where he taught Art History, Photography, and Ceramic Arts for 55 years. His 50th anniversary story can be seen on Youtube. https://youtu.be/NSweRSzifuY?feature=shared
