About Us

AV Clay Creations is a ceramic arts studio in Lancaster, CA, dedicated to using art as therapy to support cognitive wellness, healing, and creative expression. Through immersive workshops and classes, we provide a welcoming space where individuals of all experience levels can explore the therapeutic benefits of ceramic art.

All classes are taught by Ben Trammell, a U.S. Air Force veteran and passionate artist who discovered the healing power of ceramic art following injuries sustained during his service. Ben is a graduate of both California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and the University of Southern California (USC). He has been working in ceramics for over 15 years under the guidance of his mentor, Rich Sim.

Rich Sim, a U.S. Army veteran and former Art Professor at Antelope Valley College, taught Art History, Photography, and Ceramic Arts for over 55 years.
